Week 13 Blog

I have a lot of things to say about this project. I am going to start by saying I had a really fun time presenting and working on this project. We had over 30 weeks to do this project. I will admit that I was slacking off for the first 29 weeks of the project. I was unprepared. I was first going to a project with my friend Eric. But he decided to change up the project. It was about playing or teaching our other friend Miguel how to play the guitar. I did not like the idea. So I went home and made a couple basketball tutorials or showed my viewers or my classmates what to do and get out of risky basketball situation. I made 3 videos and in the videos I missed a few shots. I could of took my time and kept recording myself making them but I didn't care. I could of just clipped it out but I wanted to go outside with my friends and chill. So I wasn't organized at all. I named them wrong things, so that was pretty embarrassing. But I think I did a really good job because I made my own videos. So hopefully I will be prepared when something like this comes in the future. Week 12 Blog

I have all 4 videos that are ready for my 20% project. I just need to make a you tube channel so then I can upload the videos. I really had fun doing this project and I hope I can get a good grade so my final grade can be an A in English 2. It wasn't really hard to do this project. I was just really lazy, every time I came home from school I just went outside and hung out with my friends. I didn't know that the 20% project would come so fast. But I'm proud of myself for completing it. I am just really scared to present because I am going by myself. I am really not a well speaker in front of people. So lets just see how everything turns out. I'm presenting on a Thursday. It is the day were the presenting starts. I am one of the first people to go up and present. Well wish me luck

Week 11 Blog

Well I am all set for this project. I got all my videos ready for my you tube and ready to get a good grade. So basically I am going to talk for at least a minute. It was really fun doing this assignment. I think I am going to do at least one more video about how to juke your opponent and go in for the bucket. So that is all I have planned for the project and hopefully everything turns out planned. I really want to pass English with a B or better because my mom would be really happy for me. I really want to get higher then a 2.0 for my 10th grade year. So basically that's all is left for me to do so wish me luck for this project. Thank you everyone for keeping up with my blogs! Week 10 Blog

Well so far I have doing a couple practice videos for my basketball tutorials. So far I have the videos all I have to do is get the you tube ready and I'll be all set and ready to start uploading the you tube videos. I have a dribbling tutorial and a shooting tutorial. All i need is like 3 more basic basketball steps then I'll be ready to start uploading. So hopefully everything turned out as planned so I can pass English 2 and move on to a new English class. I just need one of my friends so record me so I don't have to multitask and do everything at once. I am probably going to need someone to play with also. So he can be the practice dummy so I can show the viewers how to get around your opponent or even break his ankles (term for basketball, make him fall). So that is basically all the materials I need to get started on this Basketball Twenty Percent Project.

Week 9 Blog

Well Eric kicked me out of the group because Eric is teaching Miguel how to play the guitars and I don't want to learn how to play the guitar. So I am making a you tube channel on how to play basketball and do a certain type of specialties for it. I will probably make a video on how to dribble, lay-ups, and behind the back or no look passes. So hopefully this all turns out the way I can get all my points on it, because I can see a lot of kids that play basketball and can never dribble right or even pass the ball correctly. So this is why I'm making a you tube videos for kids that can't play basketball and really want to learn how to play basketball. When there at home they can watch the videos go pick up a ball and practice out side. But there objective is to never give up and stop trying because I never stopped trying to be good at basketball. Everything takes time to be patient!

Week 8 Blog

Well we haven't been really talking about anything, we just been messing around and not doing anything. We just been talking and not doing are work. So basically we have been really lazy. So hopefully that will change next time when blogs come around. But I really nerd to get this 20% project done because if I don't do it, it will take a huge chunk of my grade and I don't want that to happen. I been doing really good in this class and I don't want anything to stop me from getting an A for my final grade because that is what I'm shooting for. So be prepared for a awesome 20% project from Eric and I. Or if we don't start working I'm probably just going to have to do one on my own. But I need a partner so I don't mess up on anything. It would also be more easy with a partner too.

Week 6 Blog

This week Eric told me he wants to change the project to something easier, I really want to do the shoe one I was talking about. It's really easy. One person has to just take pictures while he discusses it with his friends so they can blog about it. I just might do it by myself but I don't have new shoes so I don't really know what to do. Working with a team is a lot more easy then you think. It's helpful because you actually have people to talk to then do it by yourself and the only time for help is when you ask your teacher but your usually doing at home. I haven't really seen people bring there project so school. I think that not much people are doing it. But so hopefully I can do this project because I do not want to fail this class! Right now I have a C+ right now and I want to see if I can get to a A+ by the end of the quarter.
